more infoFrom 24 – 27th of November 2015 Fraunhofer FEP is exhibiting its innovative technology for seed treatment at YUGAGRO, Krasnodar, Russia.
more infoFor the first time, the Fraunhofer Institute for Organic Electronics, Electron Beam and Plasma Technology FEP will be presenting various large-area decorative solid-state thin films on metal surfaces during the V2015 (October 12 – 15, 2015, Dresden, Wyndham Garden Hotel, booth No. 5).
more infoThe Fraunhofer Institute for Organic Electronics, Electron Beam and Plasma Technology FEP will show for the first time organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) on graphene at Plastic Electronics 2015 (6th − 8th of October 2015, fair area Dresden, booth 1549, joint booth of OES – Organic Electronic Saxony). These OLEDs are an interim result from the project GLADIATOR funded by the European Commission.
more infoThe multiTask joint project funded by the Saxon Ministry of Science and Fine Arts (SMWK) and the European Fund for Regional Development (EFRE) was successfully completed. Scientists at the Fraunhofer Institute for Organic Electronics, Electron Beam and Plasma Technology FEP, ISA Installations-, Steuerungs- und Automatisierungs GmbH and VTD Vakuumtechnik Dresden GmbH laid down the foundations of a new vacuum coating process for plastic films.
more infoThe scientists of the Fraunhofer Institute for Organic Electronics, Electron Beam and Plasma Technology FEP offer competences for integrated cleaning solutions of processes in various industries. At the parts2clean (June 9th – 11th, 2015, exhibition site Stuttgart, booth of the Fraunhofer alliance for cleaning technology, hall 6, booth B48) filmy and particulate contaminations can be detected on site with a measurement system of the Fraunhofer Institute for Physical Measurement Techniques IPM.
more infoAt the SID Display Week, June 2 – 4, 2015, in San José/USA (German Pavilion, booth no. 222) the Fraunhofer Institute for Organic Electronics, Electron Beam and Plasma Technology FEP will present a coating which is required to expand the diameter of a laser beam by more than factor of one hundred. With this coating, backlighting for holographic displays can be realized in the future.
more infoAt SVC 2015 (25-30 April 2015, Santa Clara/USA, booth 1420), Fraunhofer FEP is presenting the barrier and transmission results of films that were exposed to all weather conditions for a year outdoors. The results are encouraging.
more infoDiving into a new virtual world and taking part in films by eye control – all this might be possible with a new SVGA-OLED microdisplay. The Fraunhofer Institute for Organic Electronics, Electron Beam and Plasma Technology FEP has been working for a long time on the development of OLED microdisplays combining display and camera functions. The latest work will be presented by scientists at the Hannover Messe (13th – 17th April 2015, booth of TU Dresden – CFAED, hall 2, booth A38).
more infoFraunhofer FEP is a leading provider for research and development services in the field of vacuum thin-film technologies. However, for a number of applications addressed by Fraunhofer FEP coating processes under normal pressure are as well of interest. Therefore Fraunhofer FEP expands its pilot plant park by another coating plant, which works under atmospheric conditions – the atmoFlex. The new plant concept will be presented by Fraunhofer FEP at the ICE 2015 for the first time.
