Events

Application

When you have decided for an event, you can sign bindingly through the respective event online form. Please fill out one registration form for each participant.

In the interest of planning requirements, we ask you for registration in accordance with the designated registration period. You receive a written confirmation of your registration and an invoice.

For events with a limited number of participants, we allocate the places in order of receipt of applications. Once the event is fully booked, we inform you about possible alternative dates.

Cancellation

Cancellations can be made written, by letter, fax or email. Until about a week before the event, the cancellation is free of charge. If we receive your cancellation after this deadline a cancellation fee of 50 percent of the total fee will be charged. Alternatively, you may nominate a substitute participant from your company.

Cancellation by the organizer

The Fraunhofer FEP reserves the right to cancel events with too few participants or force majeure. In this case, we will try to make a substitute appointment. If there is no suitable alternative date, you can withdraw from the reservation free of charge. Participation fees that are already paid will be refunded. A claim for reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs or absenteeism is excluded.

Participation fee

In addition to the event itself the fee usually includes the option to download workshop-documents and the catering (coffee breaks and small lunch, evening event where applicable). For details, please refer to the respective event website.

Travel and accommodation costs are not included. If you want to book an accommodation, we are happy to recommend a hotel near to us.

Payment

Payments can be made by transfer to our bank account or by check. Payment by credit card is not possible. Please find all payment details in the invoice, which you will receive within a few days after your registration.

Photos

We would like to point out that pictures are taken during the event by the organizers. These photos serve to document the event on the website and in publications of Fraunhofer FEP. If you do not want to be photographed, please contact the photographer on site.

Storage and use of data 

With your registration you agree that your personal data will be stored electronically by the organizer. We keep your personal data confidential and use them exclusively in accordance with the data protection regulations for the event organization at Fraunhofer FEP and for future information services. You have the right to revoke your consent to store and use your data at any time and to oppose the sending of information.
