After a successful pro flex 2019, we are delighted to announce the date of pro flex 2021 and to invite you to a highly interesting conference!
Roll-to-roll processing and coating of flexible materials like polymer films, metal foils, ultra-thin glass, membranes, and textiles is a growing industry and an essential process step in the production of a wide variety of important industrial products, like packaging films, solar control window films, batteries and capacitors, as well as photovoltaic and lighting modules.
From September 21 – 22, 2021, a colorful conference program on current issues in research and practice of roll-to-roll technology awaits you. For the second time, the conference program is complemented by an afternoon tutorial on roll-to-roll technologies on September 20.

The pro flex 2021 and the tutorial will be taking place online as well as on-site at the Fraunhofer FEP in Dresden on terms that it agrees with the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
Due to the current restrictions, we will have to ask all participants on-site to provide one of the following: a negative COVID-19 test result not older than 72 hours, a proof of vaccination older than two weeks or a proof of recovery from a COVID-19 disease not older than 6 months for the registration on 20th / 21th of September.
Through our online format we will be able to extend our community regardless of health issues or travel restrictions, but every online participant will still get the full pro flex experience. You will be able to listen to all presentations and meet all participants during an online evening event on September 20. Furthermore, you will be able to take part in the online equivalent of the on-site get-together on September 21 and in our online lab tour on September 22.
Participants on-site can expect the highest possible safety standard to enjoy the conference and lab tour without worries. We will limit the number of on-site participants to 45, in order to ensure that you can keep the recommended distance of 1.5 m. The on-site participation includes our traditional evening get-together in a pleasant atmosphere on September 21. Additional to the face-to-face discussions, you will be able to connect with the online participants during an online evening event on September 20 and during the conference.
Due to the uncertain Corona situation, participants are allowed to change their way of participation (on-site or online) up to one week prior to the start of the event (13.09.2021), free of charge.
